Final script+group work reflection(PSA)

Script:
An act of littering will make more littering.
This is so called the butterfly effect.
The more littering we make, the more damages we face.
Pollution
Disease
Land Loss
Finally, our earth will be destroyed.
So,
Green the Earth.

We made a lot of discussions first and then separated the work.
This time, I am in charge of script writing.
The reason I didn't put many words in my script is that I consider people tend to read short messages instead of long sentences nowadays. I need to write concisely and briefly to attract others' attention.
I found it quite hard because the script should include clear messages and also creativity.
Besides, arousing others' awareness of the serious effect from littering  is also the target.
I am glad that I've done this because it's really a progress for me.
I also discover I lack of creativity. I can't contribute as many interesting ideas as Jill does.
I hope next time I can improve this part.
Overall, it's really an interesting and meaningful project.

Finally
Bye Bye our Earth.

ad analysis

The headline is a question headline.
There's no subhead or a slogan, but there's a copy in this ad.
The visual may not be very attractive since its background is just a common picture.
However, I think the lay out is really creative. The picture really makes people contemplate. Behind the neglected little girl are a group of adults talking. They never think of those abused children and they just let them go to court alone. It reflects a society phenomena. Even without the copy, we can still get the message it wants to deliver. The innocent child and the cold adults really match with the copy.

Script President calls for unity in support of economic liberalization President Ma Ying-jeou called on the Legislative Yuan to speed up the review of a services trade agreement with China He said it would demonstrate the government's unified support for economic liberalization. Speaking at a reception to celebrate a free trade pact signed by Taiwan and Singapore, Ma said Taiwan has begun talking about signing economic cooperation agreements with major trading partners, including China, Japan and the United States. He added, however, that Taiwan is "lagging far behind" Singapore, which had signed six major trade agreements with its partners He hopes the review of an agreement between Taiwan and China will begin as soon as possible to "demonstrate the support of both the Executive and the Legislative branches for the nation's policy of liberalizing its economy." Reflection

This time, I am in charge of peer-editing. It’s really a tough work. I had to read carefully and correct the grammar errors and then sometime re-organize their works. As I did the editing, it’s really interesting to read their ideas and know their writing styles. I really learned a lot from the editing. I know more good coffee shops and knowledge about coffee. Besides, I learned from my peers’ mistakes and the interesting ideas of writing. As for the team work, I really appreciate my group members' cooperation. Everyone worked hard for the e-zine, especially Jill. She did all the layouts, and I saw how creative she was.
By doing this e-zine homework, I realize that publishing a work is never easy. I have to put interesting ideas in your article to attract more readers. I have to re-check again and again to make sure there are no mistakes. Though it was time-consuming, I still enjoyed in the work.

This is the e-zine we made. Share with you.

The Turning Point in My Life

The photo does not seem to be a beautiful one. However, the photo hides a story about my dad and me. And this story has made my life totally different.
When I was little, my dad always got home late for the sake of earning money to support our family expenses. I held an aloof relationship with my dad. Or I can say, our whole family didn't feel close to my father. We seldom talked with each other. I felt afraid of him, because he was just like a commander in troops. Though he seldom stayed at home, he controlled my life decisions. All I could do is listen to his suggestions. Every time my family and I could not pluck up our courage to give him advice or our thoughts. Because of the gaps between my family and my dad, we couldn't stand on the same side and there were more and more conflicts. I didn't like the way we got along, and it seemed that the relationship will be kept cold like this forever. Until two years ago, I went out with him, accompanying him to deliver the goods to his clients, our relationship has reversed.
That day, we chatted a lot. We discussed different kinds of topics and I opened my mind to talk with him like I did to my friends. It was really hard for me, but I was glad that I made the first step. I realized that he was a gentle man actually and all he did was to make us improve to become a better person. He was far-sighted and knowledgeable. He was just a father who needs family's care, just like other fathers did. He was so humorous that his words could help me think positively towards my life. It was the first time I felt so close to my dad. I didn't even know how kind he was. In order to capture the moments of that day, I took this picture. It was taken when I was awaiting my father talking with his clients in the store. I shot the photo in my dad's car in Kaohsiung county. It was a lovely day with a lovely weather. I looked out, and I was thinking about how grateful I was to have a dad that helped me a lot in my life.
After that day, our relationship has become more intimate. We are just like friends now, and we will share everything that happened in our daily lives every day. And because of the change of our relationship, our family becomes close and happy now. I would like to see this as the turning point in my life, because I will seek out suggestions and solutions from my dad every time I face difficulties, and all of his advice serves me well and my life become smoothly. If I hadn't hung out with him that day, I would not have the chance to know my father well. And I appreciate the chance, because it made me realize I have such a great father that I have been yearning for.

     1. When was this photo taken? Two years ago.
     2. Who took the photo? I took the photo.
     3. Where was this photo taken? In my dad’s car, Kaohsiung county.
     4. Why was this photo taken? Waiting for my dad.
     5. Why is this photo meaningful for you? The first time I felt so close to my dad
